Alice Hauptman created Alice’s Healing Garden from both personal experience and professional expertise. As a BSN, RN, Reiki Practitioner, and a Hospice/Homecare Nurse, she has spent years bridging the gap between Western medicine and holistic healing to provide compassionate, integrative care.

Before she was a healer, she was a patient. She experienced firsthand the confusion and frustration that comes with navigating pharmaceutical treatments, adjunctive therapies, and alternative healing methods. She has seen the contradictions, limitations, and unintended consequences that can arise when conventional medicine and holistic approaches don’t align.

“My own health journey led me to a crossroads.”

While being treated for a chronic illness, she developed symptoms of cancer, caused by one of her prescribed therapies. Faced with an impossible decision, she chose to take her healing into her own hands.

 “I decided I would rather live with my chronic illness than risk dying from the ‘cure.’”

She embarked on a six-month juice fast, committed to daily movement, and slowly weaned herself off the pharmaceuticals.

“What I didn’t  expect was that, as a side effect of this new way of living, I went into remission—not just from the side effects, but from my chronic illness.”

This journey changed everything. She realized that:

“There are many ways to address and alleviate dis-ease.”

That’s why she created Alice’s Healing Garden.

She felt a calling to guide and support others to a healthful way of life, this way, empowering others to their best well-being.
